Institutional changes of the policy of equality and non-discrimination in Mexico

Abstract
This article contains an analysis of the institutional changes that have occurred in the Mexican context based on the neoinstitutional economic, sociological, historical and cognitive postulates based on the policy of equality and non-discrimination. In this sense, the existing institutional framework in the country is addressed to solve the aforementioned public problem through government agencies, plans and programs, as well as the applicable regulations.
The main conclusions are broken down by an unfinished institutionalization status, since there is considerable progress in the formal regulation of the issue, but it requires certain institutional changes from the non-formal aspect of the policy. In this way, some guidelines to follow to achieve the stated objectives are revealed. Institutional adjustments and particular changes are required starting from the theoretical notions of the neo-institutionalism addressed.
