Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of this article is to confirm the gender difference in cases of school violence identified in other studies, through the cases documented in Mexico City and the metropolitan area. We used the chi-squared test to evaluate the relationship of the qualitative variables and corroborated with the narrations of the victims. This information comes from cases investigated and confirmed by human rights institutions. In general, the results confirm sexual aggressions in girls and adolescents, and physical and emotional abuse in children and adolescents. Therefore, the school reproduces the patriarch culture and the androcentric culture of other social spheres.
