Consequences on children's rights due to drug policies in Mexico

Abstract
In order to contribute to the debate about drug policy, this article is a review of the observations and recommendations of the Committee on the Rights of the Child, with the aim of identifying elements to guide the action of the State focusing on the rights of the child. It is important to prioritize the design, development and evaluation of public policy, which has to be inclusive and respectful of human rights of children and adolescents, and capable to generate comprehensive intervention models that allows alternatives of decent living.
