Decisiones judiciales y la lucha contra la desigualdad: el caso de las personas LGBT y la Corte Constitucional de Colombia
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper is part of a research regarding the adoption of children by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in Colombia. The text notes how after the creation of the 1991 Constitution there was a sustained process of recognition of rights to lgbt people in Colombia, which was possible as a result of judicial decisions of the Colombian Constitutional Court. This process has had three recognizable stages and it has been such that today, except in certain aspects, the legal situation of sexually diverse people is almost identical to the legal situation of heterosexuals.
