Abstract

This essay exposes the latent situation that girls, boys and teenagers are living in the educational environment, which is developing at home due to COVID-19 pandemic; and the context of latent family violence. This in the light of international and national standards of human rights in order to carry out a critical exercise of the state measures to guarantee the rights of children and adolescents. The rights that the analysis focuses on are: to education and a life free of violence in accordance with the guiding principles for the protection of children.

Michelle Guerra Sastré

Doctoranda en Derecho con especialización en Derecho de Menores por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), maestra y especialista en Derechos Humanos y Democracia por la Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales sede México (Flacso México) y licenciada en Derecho por la UNAM. Es profesora de asignatura en la Licenciatura en Derecho y la Maestría en Derechos Humanos de la Universidad Iberoamericana. Fue parte del grupo de expertos convocado por la jefa de Gobierno de la Ciudad de México para generar el marco de actuación en materia del derecho al libre tránsito y la libertad de expresión.
