Abstract

This paper discusses the social vulnerability of personnel dedicated to health services during the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic in Mexico. In this, vulnerability conditions are analyzed through a case study with the participation of three nurses assigned to the area of care for patients with a positive diagnosis. They agreed to a psychological therapy with a humanistic approach from Gelstat to attend to problems that compromised their mental health. The results allow us to understand how their vulnerability is associated with the adverse conditions of the infrastructure of the hospital system, the existence of the existence of unattended personal problems that exacerbated the emergency, the lack of recognition by citizens of their social work and it was identified as a protection factor his vocation for nursing.
