Abstract

In this article we will analyze the figures of Terry stop and reasonable suspicion. The study will be based on the judgments of federal courts, both North American and Mexican. It is proposed that there are certain very recurrent factors that, under certain circumstances, may generate a reasonable suspicion that justifies the application of a Terry stop, that is to say, a temporary detention for investigation purposes.
