Constitutional restrictions to the conventionality control in Mexico

Abstract
In general terms, the current article will explain how the Inter-American Human Rights System works, and the importance of the sentences issued by the Inter-American Human Rights Court. In addition, we will analyze the parameter related with the conventional control in Mexico, its content, limits and principles that rules it. Finally, we will highlight how the Inter-American System influenced the integration of such parameter, analyzing at the same time the constitutional restrictions issued by the Mexican Supreme Court and comparing it with countries like Colombia and Guatemala, where they provide a supra-constitutional protection.
